We take our assignment of using only the finest ingredients available in our products very seriously. For example, we only use Japanese pharmaceutical-grade CoEnzyme Q10 despite the availability of much cheaper Chinese raw material because of the superior standards set by the Japanese government. Likewise, our L-carnitine and SAMe use Italian-made raw materials because they are the unqualified best available.
We only conduct business in a responsible manner, both in terms of providing customers with a superior product for the greatest value, and in terms of more general ethical principles. We do not, for example, offer uña del gato (cat's claw) or shark cartilage because these products are not harvested in an environmentally sustainable manner. Further, there is no good science that shows any benefit to taking shark cartilage; despite claims to the contrary, sharks do get cancer. There are several popular products we do not sell because we are concerned about their safety, though their sale is completely legal; these include human growth hormone (HGH), bitter orange (citrus aurantium), and blue cohosh (completely unrelated to black cohosh).
